No tour of the world’s most significant garages would be complete without a stop at the home of Jansen Tan.

A former national cyclist and Formula Drift Asia driver, as well as the founder of Coast Cycles and creative director of Lamitak, Tan’s reverence for car culture runs deep. In land-scarce Singapore, every square meter matters, so creating a space that balances hobby and home was essential.

The entire first floor serves as his workshop and sanctuary. Among the collection are a Porsche 992 GT3, RWB-built 964, 911 Safari, Toyota AE86, Volkswagen Thing, and Nissan Silvia S15. Every inch was deliberately designed for precision, pleasure, and functionality.

Above the garage sits a floating glass-box office overlooking the cars below, with the living spaces supporting a busy family. The garage, though, is where Tan spends most of his time, often with his children. The space serves as a place where work, restoration, and family merge seamlessly.
